Saturday March 1 - we kept 25 contractor bags full of Styrofoam &24 ice chests out of the landfill!
Thanks Austin folks for bringing your Styrofoam to us so Austin Recycles can re-purpose it into park benches, insulation, picture frames and more.

Each year, our club organizes a highly anticipated Charity Golf Tournament.
This year’s tournament is dedicated to raising funds for causes close to our hearts, including:
• Scholarships for Austin Community College students, opening doors to brighter futures.
• El Buen Samaritano, providing essential resources for local families in need.
• The Texas Ramp Project, building ramps for individuals with mobility challenges.
• Clean water initiatives for communities worldwide.
• Supporting Cam Laboral School in Rosarita, Mexico, ensuring children have access to education in a safe environment.
The Rotary motto, “Service Above Self,” embodies our mission to create lasting change locally and globally. Your support will help us continue to make an impact.

District 5870's and District 5840's annual Celebration of Districts will take place in San Marcos on May 2-4. There will be a Casino Night to connect with fellow Rotarians in a jovial atmosphere. We welcomed Risa Gilmore, one of our 6 vocational scholarship recipients from ACC, at our meeting today. She’s working on vocational training in HVAC.Amy Bawcom, executive director of ACC Foundation updated us on the ACC vocational scholarship program.
Our annual charity golf tournament supports our scholarship program and we are very proud of this project. Come join us in May for some fun, fellowship and golf.
