AGE of Central Texas
Dec. 11, 2025
Bonnie How serves as the Chief Community Engagement Officer at AGE of Central Texas, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting older adults and family caregivers across Central Texas. With over 14 years of experience in program development, caregiver advocacy, and community partnerships, Bonnie leads initiatives that expand access to adult day health care, resource navigation, and respite services. A passionate advocate for women in caregiving roles, Bonnie frequently speaks on topics such as dementia awareness, caregiver burnout, and community-based aging solutions. Her work focuses on empowering caregivers—especially women who often provide care to family members, friends, and neighbors—with the tools, education, and support they need to thrive. She has moderated regional caregiver conferences, facilitated support groups, and built collaborative networks with healthcare and social service providers to reduce isolation and prevent caregiver fatigue. Bonnie holds a Master of Divinity from the Iliff School of Theology and a Bachelor of Arts in Canadian Studies from the University of Lethbridge. She brings a compassionate, mission-driven approach to her work and is committed to uplifting the voices and experiences of women caregivers in every community. |

Chad was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, in 1989, to Mel and Kellie Rixse, where he grew up until graduating from South Anchorage High School in 2007. After high school, Chad spent 11 years in Seattle, Washington, where he graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish before entering the financial services industry as a Financial Advisor in the fall of 2014. In 2019, he met his beautiful wife, Genesis, while still living in Alaska, and they married in June of 2020. Since moving to Texas, Chad has continued to build his wealth management firm, Forefront Wealth Partners, has made a bunch of new, wonderful friends, joined the Rotary Club of Austin Southwest, and adopted his fun-loving Basenji, Luna.
