KVUE SPORTS BROADCASTER MIKE BARNES
Mike Barnes has been with KVUE since 1989 - almost 24 years. His wife, Kim, was an anchor at KVUE for 12 years. Mike has two kids, a son, 16, and a daughter, 13.
Mike grew up in the Dallas area and went to school at UT.
Mike has won the Austin Chronicle 'Best Sportscaster' ten times.
Mike has covered National Championship games, Super Bowls, Final Fours, been to 20 Texas-OU games. He has a big place in his heart for high school football. Friday Football Fever is KVUE's award winning show in the fall that highlights high school football.
