YOUR SOUTHWEST FAMILY YMCA

Kurt currently serves as the Membership Director for the Southwest Family YMCA. His YMCA journey began 13 years ago when he started as a lifeguard and swim instructor for the Lake Highlands YMCA in Richardson, Texas. During his time with the YMCA, Kurt spent time in child care, aquatics, youth & government, sports, and healthy living programs. He received his YMCA Organizational Leader certification in January of 2010.
Kurt received his bachelor's degree in history from UT in 2005, where he lettered on the 2004 Rose Bowl Championship Team. He received his master's degree in history from UT in 2011. Outside the YMCA, Kurt works as an Instant Replay Official for the Big XII Conference, enjoys playing tennis, and loves watching the Dallas Cowboys.
