At last Thursday's meeting, we were treated to a short presentation by Oluwaseyi Odufuye (Seyi) our former Camp RLYA student who was active in the Bowie High School Interact Club when Susan Steeg was working with at Club.
She has been chosen as one of the U.S. students to go on an Arctic Expedition Study program this summer. Our Board has awarded her a $1000 scholarship towards this experience. She will touch base with us Thursday about her trip and then come back in the summer upon her return and provide a program about her Arctic Study Program. So exciting! We are sending some Rotary gear for photo op's in the Arctic! Congrats, Seyi.
