FLYING AROUND THE WORLD IN EIGHT DAYS

Carol Foy, from Spicewood, learned to fly about 23 years ago, because she wanted to be able to land her husband's plane if the situation presented itself. After getting her licence, she logged up more airtime than her husband. In 2008, she teamed up with CarolAnn Garrett and flew around the world in only eight days, raising awareness for Lou Gehrig's Disease.
There's much more flying that she as done but I'll let her tell us about it.
She holds a flight instructors licence and is a multi-engine and instrument instructor. She is a contract pilot for King Air Aircraft.
